Default FAST IDLE

I have a 91 roadster do not have fast idle when stated only after car is warm
can this be a sencer??????????????

could u rephrase that question? THe idle should be higher when you start cold, once the engine heats up, then it should go into or out of loop (not sure) and rpms should drop a couple hundred rpm. I'm going to guess that your prob's a bad temp sensor ... not too sure.

Welcome to the Forum, Sady. Now, yes, your post is a bit hard to understand but that's okay for a first time effort. You start the car up cold and it won't idle high? Or, it stays high idle even after it's fully warmed up? We can fix this one but clarify it.

I have read your post several times and if I am reading it right, the car won't idle correctly until it warms up. This could be caused by your IAC (idle air control) not functioning as it should. As mentioned above, we need a little more clairification.
