Summit sells "dead soft copper" header gaskets for our engines - I just looked at them last night in the new catalog. Percy's is one manufacturer, Mr. Gasket may be another. I've used this type on my other car, and they're great. No leaks, ever, and they're reuseable. About $30 a pair.

perceys makes GREAT header gaskets, infact they are my favorites. the copper isn't bad but the coated aluminum is even thicker and crinkles right in. i've never had a leak with either but the aluminums are on the car right now, VERY happy i bought them. the 1.5" round port should work fine for your app.

I purchased a set of header seals from Summit, for my '86 Vette in 1999.
I also run TPiS headers.
The Header Seals are made by Earl's, and are P/N: EAR-29D03B ($36.69).
Very well constructed, and well worth the money.
