Okay, I am trying to figure out how to remove the original wires from the 22 pin plugs that go into the back of the 727 ecm. I got the fancy Lisle tool that looks like a star wheel with six different things poking out of it. Do I stick one of them into the hole and push the terminal out the back of the connector? I tried that but I push real hard and can't seem to get the thing to push out. I get them to push out a bit but not all the way. Thank you for any help.

Not familiar w/ the 727.
If it is a round contact, typically you slip a cylinder over the outside of the contact to free it. These cylinders are usually specialty items. Weather packs contacts work this way.
If it is a flat contact, typically there is a single "key" that can usually be released w/ a straightened or flat paper clip.

Well, it is a weather pack connector type I think. The 727 ecm is designed to be mounted in the engine compartment. The plug is a female type and the opening where the pin goes in is a very small square hole. I tried sticking the tool into that hole and pushing but it doesn't seem to want to push the plug out of the plastic casing. I'll try to add a couple pictures of the plugs. Hope this works.
Thanks for any help.

I'll try it again tomorrow, I'm gonna take the plug to the dealer and see if anybody there can show me. I'm very dumb in case you couldn't figure that out already.

Sliding a pick/solidWire device between the connector and the contact lock should release it. The contact lock should be positioned on the bottom of the connector hole, (as your pic is posted).

Thanks Zyla. That's it. Then I find out that new connectors are .89 each. So, I decided to leave the connectors in the big plug and I'm just gonna have to use those butt crimpon connectors to make my splices up. The project continues.
