Default Silly Question

I'm new to the board and new to Corvettes in general, so please forgive my ignorance. I'm trying to figure out what is meant by "no frizbe". My first thought were the lug nut covers on my wheels or the cover over the distibuter. What significance does it have?

Thanks
Dennis

The "frisbee" is on 88-91 (not sure exactly on years, know 88 for sure though) cars. Its a giant disc on the front of the pulley system (think Large Pizza size).
I think its off the water pump, but its too late to think for me.
You cant miss it though
It supposidly robs some power, and was put on to help smooth things out

On some years of C4 Vettes there is a large disc on the water pump pulley. It's kind of simular to a harmonic balenser, but not quite as heavy. This :"frizbee" can be removed with no visible detrement and questionable peformance increase.

I think 91 was the last year for the frisbe. Don't believe that the LT1 had it. Anyway, to continue the pizza theme, the 91's was the size of a personal pan pizza - about 7.5".
