so i was changing some lights inside my 84 to LEDS just cuz i like the look of them and it benefits against heat. noticed this connector spliced into the original center shift light and im assuming the previous owner wanted to add the second light for his shifter. when i replaced the bulb it did not turn on the bottom shift light, however the top shift light still worked. i decided to switch the wires but was not careful and i believe i blew a fuse. my shifter light NOR my Driver Info Center light up. can anyone please share your wisdom to help me solve my problem while the headlights are completely on my info console does NOT turn on NOR my shift lights. this is also the splice that i fixed however in the process i believe i blew a fuse.
sorry for the late reply but yes ive gotten this issue fixed. i was confused because of all the forums i read they all pointed to the INST fuse being the case to this issue. when i checked the fuse it had no damage and put it off for the next day. After that i did a continuity test on all the fuses and found the one that was causing trouble which was the TAIL fuse on an 84. just got worried that something mightve been wrong due to people associating the problem with a different fuse.
