Used either NO but my main concern is Vapors Paint is Pretty Flammable especially when Atomized, So I would Take that into your Thoughts. Nobody want a True Flame Job on their car.
Also with ever direction you go weather just ventilation or Air Pressure to Hold up Structure I would run air through a Household AC Filter to cut down on Flying Debris in Paint.

go to youtube and search "paint society" videos. a guy named brian recently did a series of videos on those paint booths and refinishing a c5 corvette.
Actually I was thinking of doing it this way. my cousin and his friend did an okay job on a quick and dirty conversion of a Midas muffler shop bay into a spray booth. I am thinking that if I took my time. Like the winter. I could have something workable by early spring.
I worked at a small shop that had a plastic sheet made booth and the paint looked fine. I can't speak to how long it lasted though I don't remember customers returning to complain. Long time back...
We have an inflatable booth at work, I am not a fan at all. The exhaust fans are not nearly strong enough and even with windows on the sides there are too many shadows. Don't even ask what happens when an unexpected thunderstorm pops up.
OMG, this so nice of you. Very thoughtful. Funny you mentioned the area around the car. I was thinking the same thing. Probably need 3/4 feet so you can move comfortably.
thank you again
