Default Fuel Pump
Getting a noise out of the back of my 1992 Corvette that sounds something like radio static. It is an intermittent problem, but it seems to be coming from the fuel pump. Anybody experience this issue?

failing rear speaker amp(s)? Fuel pump usually do hum or no noise.

It could be failing amps in rear speakers

If it were a fuel pump I'd think that it'd be a constant hum or whine and not intermittent, like others have said it may be your speakers in the rear.
