I just replaced the Opti in my 92/base/manual and during the initial test drive the Service ABS and ASR lights came on. Checked the codes and pulled a 76 for the Accelerometer Out of Range.
I did disconnect the wiring harness clips and hose from the ASR to move it out of the way to change the plugs and wires. Never threw the code before this. Checked all the connections and all was right.
Any ideas outside of the actual Accelerometer being bad? Since I did disconnect the wires and hose, is there anything I should've done afterwards that might be causing the code to be thrown?
If I the lateral accelerometer in like the 90-91, it has a little pendulum in it that can get stuck and not centered. If you remove it and slam your hands together with it, that will free it up.
