I recently purchased a 90 with an aftermarket radio. After a couple weeks the radio stopped working along with my wipers, as they share a fuse. When checking it the fuse was blown and every time it’s replaced and I start the car it blows again. What could the cause be?
Start by pulling radio and see the splice in or if the power comes from a fuse tap in fuse box pull the wire and see if the short goes away then you know what system is the problem and trace wires back to radio. Who knows you might have a radio with such a power need that it is too much
Many aftermarket radios have a dedicated power supply from under hood if they have Amplifiers big enough to make you a Miracle Ear customer in such a small area car
