Default Help with windshield washer arm/attachment

Hey all, I recently accidentally broke one of my windshield washer arms off and have had trouble while trying to fix it, so I was wondering if this repairable as is or if I would have to replace something? Thanks.

I don't see your problem, slide the arm on to the stud and keyed slot till it's seated. Then lift up arm end away from glass at same time push the retainer in and release the arm end and all should settle with glass contact and a locked on arm.

You're concerned about the keyed part of the spline shaft being broken off? In my opinion, it's probably not that big a deal. The key is just to locate the arm in the correct orientation on the spline shaft. As long as the arm fully seats down on the shaft, you should be okay. You have nothing to lose by trying it, except maybe stripping the inside of the wiper arm splines.
