Default C4 front brakes. New option

Well as many of you know there are not many options for c4 brakes. I came up with a bracket that allows the use of TBM brakes which are top of the line brakes.

Yes they are really light. 14 lbs savings each side over over Wildwoods.

These brakes are used in all sorts of racing and come in different size and thickness rotors.

They are superior in every way to nothing other than prob their equals made by Mark Williams. Both aren't cheap.

The Wildwood **** stopped my car going 160mph in a quarter mile very easily and have thousands of street driving thru the mountains. These are going to be fast better. Main reason I got them is weight and the Wildwoods never released 100 percent and dragged. These are known and designed for 100 percent release.

ii can vouch for how annoying brake dragging is

fignting that issue on 1996 grand sport calipers

its like ‘1’ of the pistons drags and that caliper/side of the pad prematurely wears , also wears the rotor prematurely.

there isnt any kind of a pull when driving/braking. Just more wear on tjat one side

i took my 1996 j55 grand sport calipers apart, scotch brited the piston bores and pads, Also replaced the caliper seals and dust boots. Not sure if i even fixed it, time will tell
