O.K. guys, just got my clutch and kit and am getting ready to put it in.I've done clutches on old muscle cars.Any tips or short cuts to doing this. Are there any thing I should pay more attention to.I bought a sissor trans jack,I've heard the trans is a lot heavier than a M22.I'm planning to put it up on 4 heavy duty jack stands.Where should they be placed? This is on my 94.How do you get that pin out of the shifter so I can get it apart?
well, i know ive read about just about all of your questions.
so, id think you shouls go do some searches...
or wait and some kind people will probably tell all.
a hint about putting the trans back in would be,
get someone to press the clutch in and out, while you shove it back in.
.. and. try not to just toss bolts and nuts everywhere, like i did.
uh.. when you get the exaust out, and the driveshaft out.
pry the trans sideways(after is loose), to get the support beam out.
