Hey everyone. I’m having trouble with my car regarding fuel problems. When I try to prime the fuel pump I have 0 PSI but after 5 seconds of cranking my engine it fires up to 35 PSI. When I rev my engine it drops down to around 20 PSI. Originally I thought it was the fuel relay based on this diagnoses but it after replacing it it still has not solved the issue. The fuel pump was also recently replaced (it went out completely). I’m kind of lost at this point and looking for advise. (All parts bought from oreillys)
Edit: I found the issue following https://youtu.be/cPT5dpNo-sU?si=l1NkGNJOBzuMoD6e it turned out to be the connections on the fuel pump

Next up would be fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator. Is it running real rich? If the injectors were leaking that much it should be dumping fuel and be obvious rich.
I have almost the same issue. For your priming issue, I would do three things next, one verify 12v from the fuse box to the fuel pump relay, second, verify 12v from the ecm to the relay, third, clean the ground for the relay. One of those is your priming issue.
I also have a low pressure issue. I get 40 at prime, 30 while running, but on a good pull at around 3000 rpm it drops to 20 psi. The funny thing is it doesn't seem to do it until the car warms up. I figure I start with a new filter, then regulator, and I would hate to have to replace a pump that is maybe 2 years old, but I will if it makes the car run better.
