Default Horn relay

Hello……Exactly where is the horn relay, I’ve see the panel on the passenger side ( triangle shaped) but only see fuses but no horn fuse. Is there another panel to check and does it just pop off or do I need tools to remove. Thanks

I don't see where you've ever mentioned the year of your Corvette. I don't want to guess! You posted a couple interesting snapshots of an exhaust system that hasn't been available for many years and also likely a center opening intake system that also hasn't been available for a decade or so.

What year is your Corvette? Do you have maybe a FSM(Factory/Field Service Manual) that came with your purchase?

** I'm going to guess it's maybe a '91 judging from the hood emblem and if the # on the pulley is 14101167 i's a '91 5.7 VIN 8.

** Fuse would be marked THEFT in AUX 1 Box
*** Relay is here:

Do you actually have a horn issue? Is the 'THEFT' fuse present and not blown? If you actually need to access the relays under the right side of dash then you'll need to use tools.

I'll assume that you do have a 'click'! Is the click you hear coming from the vicinity of the right lower IP panel? Coming from some where else?

The THEFT/HORN fuse is under the right side of IP also but higher near the CDM. I didn't check the FSM before the post #2. It's in the AUX 1 box.

To get to the AUX Fuse Boxes and how to get to it and the horn relay you'll need to do nearly everything in this video.

Id rule out the horn button itself before i ripped the dash out to get to a relay.

Ok, I’ve checked the horn button tabs, I’ve checked the horn. Today I opened my window and lock the door from inside and when I open the door the horns went off so do that mean that the horn relay is good and maybe somewhere in those contacts ( I did push them with the cover off and nothing happened).

Once i opened the window and lock the door then I open the door from the outside and the alarm went off so I figured it wouldn’t be the relay, so I fiddle around with the horn button again (tried before but nothing) this time and second time cleaning the contacts and putting the horn button back on it sounded . I only fiddled with the horn button on the left side and now both side are working
