One of my injectors on my 89' coupe needs to be replaced. I bought the car about 12 years ago and have no idea how long before that the Accel 24# injectors I have were installed. Want to replace the set. It has always run a little rich and intermittingly throws a code (45), so I'm looking at the Bosch 22#.
FIC carries both New ($440) and Rebuilt of the same model but at half the price. Any opinions on either.

FWIW, i've replaced about a half dozen sets, all FIC - all rebuilt and never an issue.
I actually do have a theory where the companies get the "rebuilt" injectors. It is a lot like "factory refurbished" vacuum cleaners. They take ones that are returned because they did not work and repair them. Just my theory. I have never seen a retailer ask for your old injectors to rebuild. Dan
Decided to go with new Bosch 22#.
Will also be changing EGR valve, FPR, air temp sensor, thermostat, and a water pump. With all appropriate gaskets and seals. So I have my work cut out for me.
Thanks all.
