Differences between 94 & 96 ZF6
Over in the forsale section someone is selling a 94 ZF6, I currently have a 96ZF6 in my car but it is in need of a rebuild. What are the differences, if any?

My understanding (and I just retrofitted a '96 into my '87 so I've looked recently) is that the '89-'94s had the pull-up collar on the shifter to get into reverse and the '95/'96 had the crash-through shifter. Similar to a non-lockout, though you do have to put ~15lbs (from the specs, not by my SOTP feel) of effort into the shifter to "crash through" the gate.

So that's why it feels like it doesn't want to go into reverse? You're supposed to pull on it hard? I thought mine was just worn out or something.
