Yes with of course appropriate hardware. The actual GM# is 3952301 but it's not unusual for the casting number being a digit different than the OE number. If buying used you want to match the casting information.

A bigger question what is the reason for the question, what's wrong/broken, a Leak because there many things that make this area to leak

It looks like its starting to leak. Im running Mobil 1 and i had 3 corvettes before this one and they did fine without an oil cooler/warmer. It just too many connections that can fail.

I think your good for your plan but there is only a Rubber seal and a gasket to sealing/Rebuild the cooler, and the biggest oil leak offender is the Big Flange bolt where your filter goes onto. They sometimes loosen a little (ok a lot) that's why I made it a habit to give it a Test tighten if it moves with a little wrist it with a socket it's tight now.

The larger O-ring used for the cooler to block seal hasn't been available for many years. Best I recall that was a 'square cut' O-ring and a very difficult find. GM# 14087586 is the original and correct. At one time I believe people were removing the sealing ring from a filter to use as a replacement. I've never owned an L98 so I have no idea if it works.

I purchased a Fel pro kit which listed WVZR-1's GM number from rock auto p/n ES 70687. It appears to be a tiny bit larger than my oil filter seal. oddly enough RA list it for 92 to 96 corvette but the FSM list it for other years as well.

Yes Z52 KC4. I have the cooling system maintenance coming up so I stocked up on temp sender, radiator, high flow thermostat, 1 oil cooler hose as well as the square cut seal kit. I noticed a small run on the side of the wix oil filter as well. The Fel Pros are on closeout at RA for $2.59. Too many projects on my car I need to slow down a little.

This might be the square seal, now just an observation but the square style seal has a total look and feel of a standard oil filter seal the last time I had 1 in hand
