Default Desktop Dyno Software

Hello Gents, I got some software to play around with, Desktop dyno and drag. In the program, it asks for Cam IVO, IVC, EVO,EVC. Along with Valve Lash and Lift at Valve, numbers. Anyone have any idea what the stock values are? I believe to have exhausted my internet searches to dead ends lol. Thanks!

IF you can find the factory published spec for the factory cam you are using - duration and lobe centerlines.... You can input them to this calculator and find the timing events.

Also be aware of what your Desk top Dyno software is asking for... is it asking for timing events calculated from advertised or 0.050 lobe numbers? Make sure you use the proper duration to calculate your timing events.

Its on a 1996 Corvette LT1. I'm just messing around with it to see how "true" it is. I just need the intake center line for the said cam.

Typically this is measured with the cam installed and a degree wheel.

I see why the information is difficult to find: there's no cam card with the OEM cam, so people don't seem to time the cams so much on OEM setup, and there were differences in model years and applications. People who knew the Gen 2 LT1 inside and out are mostly gone/retired and not engaged in making information available for everyone.

Here's a link to the cam specs if you can resolve the file to show the numbers properly:

117 same as the lobe seperation. GM didn't grind any advance into the cams.

melling stock replacement is MC1336. melling site says 117 centerline for intake and exhaust.
so there's no advance ground into it.
