Need help fast - low beams are dead
Last night I went to drive home in my '92 auto and discovered when I switched my headlights on that my low beams were dead. The hi-beams are OK, and I was able to drive home with just them, but I don't want to blind anybody and don't want a ticket. The owner's manual states that there is no fuse for the headlights, just a circuit breaker near the switch. Anybody know where that is? Does it independently control the hi- and lo-beams? Enquiring minds want to know.

Hmmm... we have dual filiment headlights. It's possible that you lost both lights together. Buy one and throw it in there and see if it fixes that one. The only other possibility I can think of is the control stalk on the column. They've been known to go bad but usually you can't get the high beams to stay on.
BTW, the circuit breaker is in the light switch, if it were bad (or tripped), you wouldn't even get the high beams working.

You have fusable links (2) that work the headlights. They are located beneath the battery. It would be easier to check and see if you have 12V at the headlamp control module (located on the drivers side front fender well across from the AIR pump. If you do, then the links upstream are OK.
