Almost on the road again.....
Went and paid for the transmission today, parts list is below, I go by
tomorrow morning to take the trans down to Cooper's to have it put back
in the car and should be back on the road tomorrow night. I also had
Cooper's put new brakes on since it was there.
The shop I chose to do my rebuild was Briscoe Transmission in
Woodbridge, contact person is Dana, his prices are VERY fair and
reasonable (under 1k for mine, already out of car) and I will be going
to him in the future should I ever decide to upgrade. Various other
things were done to alleviate the potential of my last problem
happening again.

Heavy Duty wide 2-4 band
3-4 capacity kit
Heavy Duty sun gear shell
Transgo Shift Kit (2 washers used)
