Doug-Nash 4+3 information
I know there's probably over a hundred posts about this transmission so I'm sorry for adding to that list. If someone could link me to some threads that have helpful information that would be greatly appreciated.
I think im having issues with my 4+3 OD unit. Was working fine until just yesterday. My T-10 still works flawlessly, as well as my reverse gear. But for whatever reason my OD doesn't want to engage. I get the OD light on the dash but my unit doesnt engage. Any ideas?

Depending on the year, the OD switch is located in the shifter area. If you shift into OD by pushing the button on top of the shifter then that's where your switch is. If you activate it with the console switch then obviously that's where it is.When I had issues with my 88 back in the early 2000's I could not find a relcacement switch and had to replace the entire shifter assy.
