If you actually have registration for the car and personal identification you might carry the VIN to a GM dealer and ask for 'key code' assistance. They generally charge but if reasonable the key codes will be provided to the dealer along with the ignition key resistance. Since your key rotates then you match the resistance of your current key to that which the dealer was provided. It's not often that the ignition key resistance will be changed. Not often but it's possible. How you proceed from there? There are choices and options. But that can be maybe the quickest solution. If you've a relationship with someone at a GM dealer it's time to ask for a favor!
