Good morning,
A function called "on-reverse", which according to the manual sounds like it was a type of tripmeter, is not well described in the manual. A lot of the manual is not well described in my opinion.
The manual is for multiple vehicles but the description used the C4 IP and driver information center in it's example (or telltale panel depending on what the manual wants to call it).
An indication on-reverse is active is the top bar of the fuel gage is missing (and possibly the low fuel light is lit). The manual states it is better described in the telltale section but I did not see any extra info.
Wow, the entire 87 manual that uses that term has on-reverse instead of reserve.. But even so I should have figured that one out........... I thought it was some type of extra odometer for when the car is on a single leg of it's trip. That's like "the transponder doesn't work in the O-F-F position"
