Default Rear Defrost

in the process of replacing the rear hatch gasket. During the process I noticed that on the upper arm of the piston there was no wire for the defroster that fits on the electrical spade connector. Would anyone have an idea of how to get another one and any thoughts for its installation. This forum has been extremely helpful to me and I look forward to the answer.

A simple solution is new pistons with the connector.

Actually, the lead from the glass is the missing member. The spade connector is intact on the piston.

It's very low tech, a heavy gauge wire 10 gauge+- a connector that fits onto the strut, the hard part is getting the wire back onto the glass.
I'm not sure fit there is a solder paste that allows a appy and dry, in the past I have hot soldered the wire onto the ribbon on the glass BUT YOU RUN A RISK OF GLASS EXPLOSION
never happened to me and I did several but the risk is there
