Default 1987 throttle body

There's this extra intake stud thing on the throttle body that I can't seem to figure out. I know the pvc goes on the top stud and there's one for the coolant that I have blocked off for a throttle body coolant bypass but there's no hose leading to the stud in the middle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-thanks!

vacuum for the purge control solenoid. It probably runs terrible with that open.

I see now thank you very much! Although I have one more question, there's just one more hole I can't find the hose that goes to it. It's on the cruise control. I have the 3 way air check valve going back to the canister and the other going to the one of the two holes on the cruise control but there's one left and I'm not entirely sure.

I forget whether it is the upper or lower, but one of them goes to a valve at the brake pedal. Its what shuts the cruise down when you tap the brake. Sorry. I meant to check which was which while i was under the hood tonight but forgot.
