Headlight Module Woes
I'm sure this is just another bad headlight modulator post, but I'd like to confirm before firing the parts cannon.
Bought the car recently and only the driver side headlight would pop up, both turn on.
Right side has a new motor assembly.
I disassembled the headlight modulator to find there are two integrated fuses on the board, one of which was blown. I reconnected the integrated fuse and plugged the modulator back in. It immediately closed the passenger side headlight (Hooray!)
When I turned the headlights on, both popped up, but it killed the fuse again and the transistor got extremely hot.
So, my question is, does this sound like a modulator problem or a wiring problem?
