Has anyone ordered from TPiS lately? I placed an order several weeks ago and have heard nothing back and can't get a response. Changing out injectors and fuel filter and ordered an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and diaphragm from Jim at the same time. Called several times and emailed with no response. Are they still in business? If not, does anyone have a recommendation for adjustable FPR and diaphragm?
I’ll never do business with them again. I’ll go as far as to call them a bunch of bums. I ordered a part from them and went through the same situation you are. They refused to answer my emails or voicemails. Finally i had to get my credit card company involved……and TPIS disputed it LOL. Ended up working out in my favor, but I’ll sure as hell never buy anything from them again.
They have been around for a very long time. Not sure if Myron Cottrell or whomever was the main guy, but they are old I imagine. Not an excuse, but they are either overwhelmed or just dont have anyone to fulfill orders, customer service etc..
I have ordered small parts from them over the past 2-3 years. They are slow ,and good luck talking to someone, but I have always received what I ordered.
Does anyone have a recommendation for adjustable FPR and diaphragm?
Many thanks
I have used the BBK adjustable FPR and it's great. Zip Corvette sells it, along with the diaphragm near the bottom of the web page separately. Call them for availability.
Thanks for all the replies. I went ahead and ordered the BBK FPR (from Amazon, Zip was out of stock) and diaphragm from Zip. Disputed the charge with TPiS so we will see how that goes.
I needed to run a slightly shorter bolt for my BBK top end, yours may need it. I just took it all to Ace and purchased a few different length fasteners.
