Just picked up this 94 Base 6 speed and am really enjoying it. Local widow was selling after husband passed suddenly last year. He was in the middle of a couple projects (installing all LED bulbs EVERYWHERE) and a really horrible Amazon modified airbox lid. Anyway.
Second long drive I took the chime module started the slow chime (bong........bong............bong) for no apparent reason. Seat belt was on, doors shut, no warning lights. I read here (or maybe somewhere else) that this might be from the LED bulbs and associated fancy flasher causing the turn signal on too long chime to sound? I have ordered all new non LED bulbs and the standard flasher and am just waiting to get them. The widow said she rode in the car frequently and it had not done that. She thinks they had not driven the car after the LED project began. Thanks!
