I installed these LED headlights because people have had good luck with them. They work great, BUT the high beam indicator stays lit even on low beams. I tried adding the resistors, but then the lights stayed on high beam all the time. The lit indicator isn’t a big deal but kinda annoying. Any suggestions?
I installed these same headlights on my "84. I had read other threads referring to the high beam issue and this canbus decoder solved their issues, so I did the same.
I have nice LED headlights and NO issues with the high beam indicator and the low/high beams work correctly

I ordered and installed there… problem resolved. The lights go from low beam to high beam just like they should, and the high beam indicator goes on and off like it should as well. Thanks guys!
Yes, they are. I verified all lights were working correctly before I had a state inspection.
Awesome. I've done the LED conversion twice and had to tear apart the passenger side of the dash to get to the foglight relay and ground it somewhere else. Not a fun job.
