How many miles?
How many miles do you think are on this LT1 I was told 27,000 :skep: I think it has more although it has no ridge it does have a lot of carbon build up near the head gasket I am sending the block to the shop monday to have it checked and hopefully just hot tanked re-honed and new cam bearings then its LT4 hotcam and springs new bearings, oil pump and back togeather
If any one has a good source for a LT1 rebuild kit please tell me

I worked in machine shops rebuilding engines for 10 years or so. Carbon
buildup is no indication of mileage. Cylinder wear and ring land wear on
the pistons are, and if the oil wasn't changed regularly, then you'll
see a lot of buildup in the lifter valley and around the spring area on
the heads.
