What are you guys running with that combo? I have read that you have to get a longer batter cable when you use the mini version? My last starter lasted 50 miles after the headers where installed. 2149...
lucky for me, the 89's forward come with the mini starter already, but I did wrap the header with that Thermo-tec cool it fiberglass wrap in the area next to the starter. Helps alot.

My starter lasted about the same (50 miles). I went with the Summit Mini High Torque Starter(part# SUM-G1660)and the only modification I had to do was change one of the connections, which came with the new starter(very easy to do). The starter has been on the car for a few hundred miles and no problems at all.
