Starter and headers.

What are you guys running with that combo? I have read that you have to get a longer batter cable when you use the mini version? My last starter lasted 50 miles after the headers where installed. 2149...

lucky for me, the 89's forward come with the mini starter already, but I did wrap the header with that Thermo-tec cool it fiberglass wrap in the area next to the starter. Helps alot.

Before swapping in my ZF (which uses the mini starter), I got through 2 years on an already old starter after putting in my TPIS headers.

Just the regular old stock '90 mini-starter here.

That sucks you have to pull a lot of stuff to get the new starter in. :cuss
