Default Door panel / carpet adhesive

So I'm working on the '88 C4 and I've finished using JB Weld to recreate the plastic sections that cracked off. Now before I put the car back together I want to make the panel itself look better. Does anyone have suggestions as to what kind of glue I could use to get the carpet to stick back up against vinyl parts and what to glue the vinyl handle (what you grab to shut the door) where it came loose? Not looking for miracles, just want to tidy it up a bit. I have used liquid stitch in the past for other projects with mixed results but those were more of me half-assing it. Added some pics to show where I have to glue. Also the vinyl has curled up where it meets the carpet so going to try and find a way to hold that down??

I just did a similar project to mine. My door carpet was looking pretty bad. I also wanted 6 1/2 inch door speakers. So I 3D printed some speaker grills that I liked out of PETG (pop bottle plastic). Then filled the factory speaker holes with fiberglass and then cut the holes for the new speakers. I riveted in a square piece of aluminum to the door that holds the speaker. The door cover just holds the speaker grill.

I just used a roll of gray automotive carpet. I used fiberglass resin mixed with hardener as a glue. I painted it on the door panel with a paintbrush and then laid the carpet on top. Then I used a razor blade to trim the excess off.

I just went ahead and am trying the liquid stitch and a LOT of clamps. I created some speaker adapters for the rear speakers and they came out pretty good. I used a roll of roofing flashing to make the adapter.

I had a similar problem. The door carpet was in good shape but it was peeling away from the door panels. I ended up doing the following:

Door Panel Carpet Fix

When it was done, the carpet was firmly attached once again to the door panels and the attachment could not be seen as it blended into the carpet pile.

That is a nice looking job they did. I was thinking about using a needle and thread but figured it would be near impossible getting the needle through the plastic. I didn't even THINK about drilling holes to run the needle through! If the liquid stitch doesn't work then I might go the needle and thread route.
Here is a pic of the panel after the liquid stitch has dried. I used clamps and a long level to hold the carpet down to the vinyl while it dried.

whenever possible, i mask off and use 3m spray 90. Nothing beats it.

Sometimes i use weldwood dap.

In the doors, for vinal delaminating, you need to get any loose kibbles n bits out, and then get the glue deep inside, LET THE GLUE GET TACKY, then clamp shut.

i use pieces of wood and clamps if needed.
