Default L98 small cap distributor

I have a 1986 Corvette and I want to switch to a small diameter cap distributor for space reasons. (I installed a Firs Intake manifold). I'm confused as to which one to get because of the shaft diameters and the mellonising of the cam gear. I installed a roller cam, so I'm guessing I need the melonised gear. The 1987 Camaro L98 350 has a small cap distributor but the shaft is listed as .430 and the Vette is .491, I believe. I'm looking at the Summit Racing brand SUM-850200 for a '87 L98 Camaro. Would that one work regardless of shaft diameter? Thanks in advance.

Shaft diameter is for the gear, any SBC distributor will fit. You can use the one you mentioned, but will have to be wired for it. And make sure the gear is for a roller cam as you mentioned.
