While headed to a doctor's appointment I tried to back into a parking space. No reverse. The shifter lever moved forward and back with no detents. I ended up driving back home shut it off in drive. Got under it today and can see the cable had a slack dip in it so I guess I'll need a new shifter cable. I read a few posts about the aftermarket shifter cable not fitting just like the OEM. Thinking of buying a used one off Ebay from Redneck. Seems like an OEM one, although used, would fit without any hassles. Might consider an aftermarket if I can get enough feedback from the Forum on this. Any comments appreciated. I'll try to post a pic at the transmission end. Thanks for looking. STW.
