So I searched here but didn't see much. I dont think my phone works too good here.
Anyways left turn signal dosent blink. Bulbs stay solid and all work. Right side fine, hazards work fine. Is this just the turn signal switch? Thats what the FSM said. Just confirming. 1988 thanks

Turn on the tail lights, Left Turn, and recheck that all 3 on the left side still are on. If one of the 3 has gone out, that socket or bulb has a bad ground.

put your left on and start checking the bulbs, then the sockets. Remove and replace the bulbs with known good ones. I've had sockets not making proper contact
Sounds line a bad ground. Mine was doing the exact same thing. I checked the left front socket and found that the ground wire had worked its way out of the socket. I pushed it back in and now it works fine.
I just went through this on my 84. All bulbs checked good and Voltage/resistance checks were good. After opening left front turn signal harness I found the socket had been replaced with an aftermarket socket. The ground terminal was different than the OEM and wasn’t making contact with the bulb. Replaced with a clean original and problem fixed.
Last night turned on left blinker, same thing, all stay solid. So i grabbed a beer and was ready to get to it. Pulled the front yellow bulb from drivers side in the bumper. Looked fine. Wiped it off, reinstalled, and works fine. There was nothing wrong with it at all, not even dirty (years ago when i did the wiring, i made dam sure all contacts were clean and bulbs were new).
So there we go. Easy fix for a change. Left more time for drinking!
