I’ve been reading on exhaust (muffler) systems and come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as the best system ( meaning the best) I’m talking about a full or cat back…. If I’m incorrect let’s hear it. The Best Exhaust System for a stock car
Problem is most people have different auditory abilities. What sounds good to one, will not sound good to others.
Most systems are garbage in my opinion.
The best I recommend is a set of headers going into the factory cat back system. If you want updated exhaust looks, my preference is a Corsa. Anything else I have heard and worked on is made of crappy materials or has the dreaded drone.
I really like my Flowmaster system, sounds awesome, no drone.
Not especially in love with the exhaust tips, but to be honest, I've never looked into replacing them.
I loved my Flowmaster system on my stock and then modified LT1.. It has zero drone, just like Corsa doesnt either. That is critical to me.
Best is subjective. I remember the 5.0 mustangs with flowmasters. Damn they sounded great. Or Ferraris with V12s. Awesome.
Its all subjective. But, I would like a Stainless Steel system as the Flowmaster is a bit rough with aluminized steel. I think they are different now..
