Headlight not closing

While having my hood up, I turned th light on and it rotated half way and stopped. Now I cant get it to rotate all open or closed. Any ideas?

Does it try? You may have someone push on it when you turn them off. If the motor is not running check the connections and relays. If the motor is running you have

#1 Bad gears in the early style
#2 Bad bushings in the newer style

I hve replaced the gears, not a bad job.
