Has anyone recently made an ALDL to USB cable?
Looking for an ALDL to USB cable. They are pricey, so was looking to make one myself.
Most posts about DIY are now dated.

I tried. The problem was I didn't know how to connect because I had never done it before. In the end the $60 bucks was worth knowing I had a good cable and could concentrate on getting the different programs to work without worrying whether it was a user or cable problem.

About half way down this thread is a conversation another member had going through purchasing a cable. Just make sure you purchase the one for your year car as that thread is about earlier model C4's. My 87 needed the 10k resistor yours may not.

Your 94 uses a unique cable. Make sure you get the right one. I believe it is a 16 pin cable but is still OBD1. BEWARE, take the time to understand which cable.
