What is this part called?
Can it be changed from the front with only the front panel off?
Does this part come in contact with the window stop? I'm assuming it finally gave way to coming in contact with the window stop, but I can't tell clearly if the two meet when the window is closed.

I just ordered the front right.
Do either of you know if this also makes contact with the window stop? What exactly does the window stop touch to make the window stop?
