Until 2 days ago everything ran fine. I could reach into the vette and turn the key and it would start and idle fine. Now, she starts fine but dies instantly unless I'm giving her some gas. If she hasn't been driven and I let off the gas regardless of how warm the engine is she dies. To drive I have to keep one foot on the gas constantly for about 1 mile and then miraculously everything is fine and I don't need to brake/gas at the same time anymore. If I turn her off and try to restart her with the engine warm I'm back at square one. I did set a code 33 yesterday. I tried unplugging the MAF and can't tell any difference. I replaced both MAF relays, also.
Re: Does this sound like a MAF problem? (kittmaster)
Just wanted to say that you guys were exactly right. Replaced the IAC today. The old one looked like crap. With the new one in it started and idled fine. I didn't do any adjusting on the idle (it's been around 600-700 after warmup since I've owned her) today because I wanted to see how the new IAC compared to the way the car ran before. Thanks guys.
