Default Single Turbo Header

Hey Corvette enthusiasts!

Im working on a 85 ' c4 Corvette vet cart that's getting a stock 87' L98 motor along with a zf6.

Im looking for cheap power adders and wanted to ask if anyone has used the single turbo headers that mount a single T4 on the passenger side header? I'll attach a photo of the exact header setup I was considering.

https://xs-power.com/gm-turbo-manifolds-3.htm

Fuel system is Fi tech pump along with a Fi tech standalone PCM and Boost capable MAP sensor. I was planning on running the factory fuel injectors and intake manifold unless it would be deemed a huge setback in terms of performance.

Any other considerations for this setup? I'm going to install an oil catch can and intercooler. Engine is currently out of car so should be easy to install needed components.

Not looking for 500 HP but 350 at the wheels would be sweet especially if it was a semi daily driver capable.

Looking at that manifold it might have some clearance issues. I would check and make sure it will clear the front cross member. Also the dump tube for the waste gate looks like it might hit the steering column. So you might be modifying the manifold.

You're absolutely not going to get away with the factory injectors. They aren't even close to the size you need. You already have an aftermarket ECU so programming for larger injectors is easy. There are lots of excellent injector size calculators online that will help you out with sizing.

I was thinking the same thing with the clearance issues. I decided on a angled manifold design for fitment. And turbo wise got a middle of the road T4 with just oil cooling. I'll plan on turning this into a build thread once I get parts put on.

Guys make a lot of power with a 7875 turbo. If you ever LS swap the car that's the heart of the fableld "don't BS me build". Matt from Sloppy Mechanics made well over 500 whp on several builds with it. I was originally going to go this route with my 84. But just didn't want to take on the intercooler and all the piping. So I went direct port nitrous instead.

You're looking at the exhaust backwards. The turbo manifold goes on the passenger side.

7875 is too big for a 350whp goal. You should be looking closer to the 6262 (GT35) size.

That makes way more sense.
