Some of the instrument panel bulbs were not working so I bought bulbs and replaced them. Now they don't work at all. Each bulb works outside of the IP. I get a dead short across the bulb contacts even with the bulbs removed, I suspect the little 3 terminal black thing that may be a diode or transistor, it has m(otorola) K 613 1301 on it,

Update. I found the short; the high beam bulb was shorting across terminals. However, the lights still do not work when the IP is reassembled. They do light when I put 12V across the bulb terminals and several places along the Printed Circuit Board traces on the front board ( the one with the lights and the displays), I cannot get them to light putting 12V to the terminals that connect the rear board. the links to the Batee site do not dive into this detail, but the Batee website does have a quote to repair the power supply to this circuit. which makes me even more sure it is the semiconductor with the "K613 1301 on it,,,any knowledge of this?
