smog failure
I just had my 1990 smog tested and it failed due to high NOx. I get a code 32, any relation. I also have the ckeck engine soon light on at different times.
Any suggestions as to where I start to find the most likely problem?

What is it? 32 or 23?? Still sounds like a code 32 to me. Pretty much the same thing happened to me, before I replaced the EGR valve under the TPI plenum. Easy job to do if you have a service manual. Took me about one hour to do it.

Hi Poway. It's code 23. I just bought the car and it has a few problems. Failed smog with high NOx, check engine soon light comes on and runs hot.
Since you live nearby, where is a safe and reasonable place to take for vette service. I heard the name of Dave Meyer on El cajon Blvd. Any other good places in San Diego or ? thanks, Martin in Carlsbad. :)
