Is there voltage to the socket? If not, gently probe the connections and related wiring for any breaks. If the electrical system looks OK, you will have to perform continuity checks of the wiring back to the 12 volt source. Did you check the "old" bulb to see if the problem was the bulb, or voltage? Have you checked the "new" bulb by applying external 12 volts to the contacts?

Thanks for the replys Vader86 and Oldman. I will pass the info on to my buddy. The C-4 is his brothers and he just sold it to another couple and it would not pass state insp. with the light out. If they can't fix it they will just have to take it to a shop. Some time things like this are simple and some time not. When changing the bulb didn't work that all for me. hehe
