Default 88 corvette dies when it gets to operating temp
88 Corvette dies after getting to temp but you can give it gas and it won’t die. And throws codes 44, 52, 53, 54, and 55

err 52 cal pac missing
err 53 over voltage
err 54 fuel pump voltage
err 55 not used

Sounds like it has a bad 1227165 ecm

I replaced the prom chip but that didn’t fix it, do you know how I could tell if the ecm was bad?

The 165 seems to have bad solder joints when old. Can wrap on the ecm case with a screw driver handle while it’s running. See if it dies or runs rough. The bogus code 55 is concerning.

it’s odd the memcal going bad. Unless it’s an old Hypertech. Some had issues.
