Default 1988 corvette resurrection

Looking at trying to save a 88 base with engine and transmission from a doner 1990, i have the wiring harness in the 88 and the complete 90 with engine , trans, rear diff but a junk title, has anyone done a transplant like this, i know the 90 doesn't have a cold start injector or MAF sensor could the 90 harness be used under hood?

I believe your issue using a 90s engine in a 88 will be more of a ECM issue. I could be wrong. My idea would be to transfer the intake and sensors from the 88 engine onto the 90s engine and use the cold start injection set up

Use the 90s donor engine and get a 87/88 TPI intake with the cold start injector, pretty sure the rest of the 90s TPI plenum will bolt right up to it.
