Working on a 1987 Corvette with I assume the manual 4+3 trans, the 1227165 ECM has bin code ABTB printed on it, might be a replacement ECM?
From what found so far the ABTB is for the 87 Vette TPI
Which bin is correct for the 87 Vette with manual trans? Is there another bin that could be used, read stories of this overdrive version having problems?
My 1987 Z51 is the ABTB calibration. There should also be a non-Z51 calibration as they had a slightly different overdrive ratio than the MK2 (0.68 OD) in the Z51 4+3s. To the best of my knowledge non-Z51 received MH5 @ 0.59. I don't know what Z52s had.
What's wrong with the one that you already have? What are you trying to do?
The 87 Vette that I'm working on does not have the original MEMCAL, the 165 ecm shows ABTB and I tried using the attached bin via the $6E mask. Only deleted VATS and stacked it on a 27SF512 prom. Starts but isn't running good at all, I'm sure the engine/drive is stock. Haven't tried the bin from scorp508 yet.
