Just got new tires on '92 convertible. No issues with driveability. Pondering whether to get alignment- local well-regarded shop is Town Fair Tire, recently opened local branch. Had good results there with tires and alignment on my GMC Envoy jalopy.
Like everything else under the C4 hood, access to wishbones etc. is tight. Spoke to the alignment tech about the Corvette and I'd need to lend him the FSM for specs. Don't think he's ever worked on a C4, as they are long since old enough to vote.
Interested to hear from CF members on your experience having this done, good, bad, or indifferent.

Thanks for the responses. I'm actually favoring skipping the alignment. With no driveability issues, as noted, that might be the sleeping dog best left alone. Owned this ride for 20+ years now, but in recent years it goes fewer than 1k miles per.
Got to make sure if ya ever have it aligned, they can do a shim alignment, not many shops do shim alignments anymore . I had more than one shop say sure then call me and say we don't do shims, never know ..
If it's tracking straight and not wearing tires unevenly, and you use it occasionally on the street (under 1k miles/year as you stated), I would definitely leave it alone.
