Default Replace leaking fuel lines

Well, after a period of smelling some gas, it escalated and now there's a puddle of gas by the passenger rear tire. I removed the little splash shield to see the charcoal canister area and the fuel lines up there are extremely corroded, 99% sure they are the source of the leak, and either way definitely need to be replaced.

I see pre-bent lines are available. I think getting access to put them in ...would be extremely difficult. Has anyone ran flexible lines as a replacement? I am unfamiliar with lines and fittings, I would need some guidance on what to use and how to attach them, but I think this seems doable if I buy the correct stuff?

Opinions?

I'd replace it with nylon.

I marked the lines...but can someone confirm which line from the tank (top or bottom) is the send? Then I can make sure that line ends up going to the fuel filter.

It's a little difficult to see in the pic which is which, but the two lines are different diameters. The supply / pressure is 3/8", and the return is 5/16".

In the second pic, where the lines have been cut, the "top" one appears to be the smaller diameter, so it is the return. The larger 3/8 is the supply, and goes to the filter.

Oh, I thought early cars had different sizes and later cars both moved to 3/8. If they're different that makes things easy

Edit - my 3/8" flexible line fits over both lines with equal difficulty. Can't tell a difference between them...wish I had calipers.

Use an open end wrench to measure the tubing.

I used the wrench method and checked my 92 just now. It's parked on my 4-post lift, but on the ground. I just checked the lines under the passenger door. I'm pretty sure you're right, they are both 3/8".

I wonder if the 3/8 return has something to do with reducing restriction when the ZR-1's dual fuel pumps are on, and it was easier (cheaper) to install the larger lines on all cars regardless of which engine is under the hood?

I learned something too. Thanks.

99.9% sure both my lines are 3/8"

Some of the rubber isolators seem to have different sizes for each line. But yeah a 3/8 wrench fits over both and a 5/16 wrench will not.

Oh, and I tracked/guessed correctly since it runs after I patched it all.
