Default Dropping entire front end w engine

So parting the 86 out. Was thinking if we could drop the engine and trans while still attached to k member? Like from the bottom out. Seems this would be easier and faster. Thoughts? Thanks!

You can, but you need to get the front end high or be on a rack.

Car is at marina. Can use big forklift. Figured this would be easier and faster seeing as how dont care about car itself. Thanks!

Leave the entire drivetrain attached, front to rear and you can roll it out from the body.

Rear is out. So its the engine and tranny (4 speed).

Should be piece of cake lifting 'body' off of what's left of the drive train.
